I had heard that agents wouldn't consider you if you self-published. I was not only ignorant but a lot has changed in a very short time.
Although we are on divergent paths right now--I'll be publishing my debut novel Spring 2026 with hybrid Atmosphere Press, your article certainly makes me question my goals and intent as a writer which is a good thing. Thank you again for this article. Debora
